Wow! So many birthday wishes! Thanks to all of you for remembering, and Happy Birthday to Helen and Karen too!
I'll have to admit that Inkick's email address made me smile. Birthday wishes from China are something that I never imagined coming to me. I was very flattered when the books were translated into Chinese, and since then, I've been astonished to hear from people who have read and enjoyed those translations.
To everyone here who has dropped in to wish me a happy birthday, welcome to the newsgroup! And I hope you will return more than once a year!
I had a very nice birthday today, with flowers and an ice cream cake and time with my sister and my kids and grandkids.
