在很久之前就出现于赫布里底群岛，而其歌词直至19世纪才有。

歌词大意讲述了Charlie王子于Culloden Moor战败之后， 几个忠心的渔夫在风雨交加中， 帮助他渡过South Uist岛和Skye岛之间波涛汹涌的大海的故事。

战场的失意、大海里的狂风暴雨还有生死未卜的前程。
