一支来自芬兰的旋律死亡金属乐队children of bodom。 Children Of Bodom乐队来自芬兰的一个叫Espoo的地方，乐队的雏形成立于1993年的春天，但当时不叫这个名字。最初的几年里，乐队录制了一些小样并且在赫尔辛基附近的地区进行小型的表演。就在这最初的几年里，乐队的音乐风格有了巨大的变化。一开始他们是作为一只死亡敲击风格的乐队，后来逐渐转变成现在的旋律死亡金属风格。这只年轻的芬兰团体的名字取自于芬兰历史上最大的神秘谋杀集团之一--Bodom湖杀手。Bodom湖位于芬兰的南部，靠近首都赫尔辛基。 本期给大家推荐的这首作品名叫《follow the reaper》来自乐队的第三张录音室专集，作为第三张大碟的同名单曲，这首作品属于乐队的典型风格，快速而凶狠的节奏与优美的冰冷旋律交相辉映，乐队的出色技术在这首作品中体现的淋漓尽致，两把吉他的和声非常丰富。这张专辑一推出便在芬兰的排行榜上占据了榜首的位置，几个星期之后这张唱片就成为了芬兰的金唱片。乐队的第三张专辑也被命名为《Follow The Reaper》是在Peter Tagtgren的Abyss录音室录制完成的。于2000年10月30日在芬兰发行。
