DM Fiat: What is next for Drizzt’s companions? Will Jarlaxle be the next Drizzt?
Bob: The road twists and winds in unexpected ways. Obviously I know what’s next, because “The Companions,” my next Forgotten Realms book, is already written and ready for an August release, and I’m almost halfway through the one after that (and to my surprise, spending an inordinate amount of time in Menzoberranzan again). Who will emerge as the main character going forward?
I guess that’s up to readers to decide, and I’ve got a bunch of friends, old and new, for them to consider. And yes, Jarlaxle is most definitely a leading candidate as reader favorite.

原因可能是原作者Elaine Cunningham与威世智的合同到期后没有续约而后者也没急着扩充这一系列
